Why we do what we do.
Our inventory is ideas. We wake up and think about them. Sometimes we think about them when we're not awake. We talk - even argue - about best ideas and solutions. We do what we do because we have to. There's nothing else in our lives or careers that allows us the opportunity to express our ideas - and get paid for it.

Why we have different disciplines.
Our disciplines do segment us into different crafts. But it's not creative versus non-creative. It's just different ways of being creative and expressing ourselves. Our cross-pollination of different disciplines means diverse ways of thinking and expressing ideas. This, in turn, leads to better ideas.

Why we do all this here.
We've come together at JA because of what we're asked to do: express our ideas. Anybody can think. Anybody can come up with great ideas. At JA we're allowed to express them.
